- Observation and risk recognition before care.
- TANDEM Touch™ support, transitions, role division, and communication.
- Tool, claw, bathing, drying, deshedding, unthreading, hygiene, and coat-removal decisions.
- Complex, geriatric, medically sensitive, behaviorally elevated, divided, deferred, and referred cases.
- Intake, consent, condition-based planning, guardian communication, aftercare, sanitation, and quality assurance.
- Written knowledge, applied scenarios, case evidence, video practical, live review, ethics, and scope.
Admission
Applicants should be working groomers or enter through an approved supervised pathway. The admissions decision can be acceptance, acceptance with prerequisites, recommendation to another pathway, or not currently eligible with an explanation.
Assessment and remediation
The published rubric defines the required evidence. A learner may meet the standard, receive a clarification request, or enter remediation. Appeals are evaluated outside the original assessment decision whenever feasible.
Renewal
The recommended credential term is two years, with continuing education, ethics and scope reaffirmation, current registry information, and a separately published renewal fee of Pricing available at launch.
