Awake is a care context, not a promise
TANDEM was developed for fully awake grooming and may expand the range of cats a skilled team can support without defaulting to injectable sedation. It does not mean every case is appropriate for awake completion. Medical risk, behavior, condition, duration, available staffing, veterinary direction, and the cat’s changing tolerance all matter.
